It wasnt installed by me. They did make me pay $30 extra for a bypass madule. So im sure they did it right. The shop is known for good installs. It just happens once in a while. I dont know whats wrong. Is there a way to disable the stock alarm permanantly. Its a 99 silverado( new body style) This is what i tried to do to disable it but it didnt work.

1. Turn Ignition on then off.

2. Remove Radio Fuse.

3. Turn to ACC.

4.Hear for the Door buzzer options,

Nothing happens!!!!!!!

Turning the key in the driver's door cylnder disarms the factory alarm. TO accomplish this with the aftermarket alarm... pulse the light green wire in the far right plug of the BCM (Body Conrol Module) that is under the steering column with a negative pulse upon unlocking.
