Newbie here needing some info please.  Going to be installing my Viper 550 on new 2003 Maxima.  Anyone have the wiring diagram???  Also, been told the door locks have to be isolated with diodes for the keyless (???)  Saw the diagram for the 2002, wondering if it's the same.  Also will need wire color for factory disarm at the SECU, didn't see it listed.  Thanks for the help.

Shane

i would think the 03' would be the same, i know on the 02' i didnt have to isolate anything with the lock wires. only thing my techsoft lists is a disarm defeat (GREEN/ YELLOW) at the SECU module, which is located on the passanger side of the steering column, and that wire should be in pin 56. hope this helps

Appreciate it guys.  Making a small change.  Figured out the keyless will arm and disarm with the motor running and key in the ignition.  Going to install the 551R instead and keep factory remotes.  Wasn't really interested in the alarm part anyway.  I hope the disarm defeat wire is the alarm disarm so when I hit the door locks twice to start it will disarm the factory alarm.  Anybody know for sure????  Thanks for all the help guys.  If this all works out, I'll post all locations and wires needed.

Thanks,

Shane

you mean the 551t the 551r has its own remote and is a keyless entry system.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
