I won a Valet 552T in a raffle. It did not come with an installation manual but the pin outs were labled on the back cover. There is no wire labled "programming switch" nor can I find the correct manual on this forum. I have found links to install manuals for a 552T but it certainly doesn't look like what I have.
The unit has a 10 pin harness, 3 pin lock/unlock harness and the relay harness. That's it. The manuals linked to from this forum show a couple more plug in harnesses including the program switch.
What's the deal with this unit?

what's the date code on the bottom of the unit, it's the two dials embossed into it.
sounds pretty old, I'm thinking 1st or 2nd generation 552

The date code is 4/97.
