Can someone tell me how to wire a relay to provide a ground using a latching relay with a signal from a trunk release wire on a Clifford 10.5 alarm?  I need help fast and badly!  My project is almost done, but need help with this part...

Why do you need a latching relay? Do you need the output to stay grounded after it gets the momentary aux signal?
The links in the Basics/Relays shows all sorts of diagrams for relay configurations that might be helpful for you-

I need the output signal from the trunk release to act as an on/off switch.  Pressing it once would provide a ground, prssing it again would break the circuit.  I am off to search through the relay section, but if you know of a specific setup, please et me know.  I admit I am just at the beginning of learning all this stuff...

this has already been asked and answered in a separate post..... please dont pollute the system with multiple posts asking the same question.....

the aux out (channel 4) is a negative output that is programmable for latched or momentary or pulsed......

I apologize for that, it wasn't intended.  I was just hoping that asking the question in a different way would generate different answers.

I read the answer about channel 4, and as soon as I locate my install manual, I'll be looking into that.  Thanks!
