I bought a used truck with the VALET 552T system installed. What is the easiest way to completely disable the system so the truck starts as if it were not installed? Hopefully I can just disconnect a wire from battery for example. I don't want the system to continue to draw power in any way, or interfere with the truck's operation. Thankyou very much - Roger

U should be able to just remove the 10A fuses and that will disable the RS.

I've looked through the owner's manual and the wiring manual, but cannot find any mention of a fuse. I also looked over the installed hardware, and can find no fuse. Where do you think it is? Can I disconnect the 12PIN H1 Primary Harness ribbon cable which appears to contain the Power Input and accomplish a complete shutdown without affecting my truck operation? Thanks.

I want to disconnect because I don't need it. It adds unreliability to my vehicle, just one more thing to go wrong. Plus the battery has been mysteriously been loosing its charge. I don't want to have to rely on a remote transmitter, just a key.
