pur/tan on the 2005 Magnum. Not hard to test with a multimeter.

well on the 300 I did today the only other wire I had left from the ign switch wiring was a purple w/ orange and I tested it and it didn't do anything with or without the key in the ign and actually didn't do anything with the ign on or in start position

i also metered the wires from the transponder harness to check for key sense and didn't find anything there??

other than that the car was pretty easy  though everything worked perfect but the info center said RKE battery low when remote started b/c the keysense wasn't energized

i know this b/c i took a non transponder dodge ign key and just slid it into the ign and performed a remote start and didn't get the RKE battery low message

hi,

measure (ohms) between the PURPLE / brown and PURPLE / orange while having a key inserted in the cylinder.  be sure to isolate the PURPLE / brown from the vehicle (cut the wire).  you should measure approximately 8K ohms.  that is your key sense resistance value.  hope this helps.
