Hey all, I did a 2001 Chrysler Sebring, installed an Avital 4100 remote start, I tried hooking up the power trunk relaese to the unit and I know its a five wire set-up, but when I hooked everything up it didn't work anyone know why? 86-87 to 12 volts via a 10 amp fuse, 85 (-) output from rs, 87a to motor side of trunk release, and 30 to switch or bcm side of trunk release. Did I miss something? Also, upon remote starting the vehicle a few times, the airbag light came on, did I miss an Ignition wire or an Accessory wire?

I would check the trunk release polarity if you are getting it at the switch. Even tho DEI lists it as 5 wire, many are negative pulse on Sebrings....
