02 Ford Windstar remote start

I've just installed a black widow remote starter into a 2002 Ford Windstar.  I used a Ford/ Mazda keyless PATS bypass module and am using the blue/green at the coil module for tach.  The Black Widow has a tach find feature using it's LED.  The LED is flashing when it is in tach find mode with the hood pin disconnected so I think the tach wire is correct but when the remote start is activated, the vehicle starts, then runs for a few seconds and then shuts down.  Do I need a tach divider module?  I've never had to use one before on any other vehicle or is this the wrong tach wire.  I've tried other sources and can't seem to get it to stay runnning.  Any one run into this before?

Kevin,  it starts fine with the key in the ignition so I think its a tach issue.  If I put the key in but don't turn it, then remote start it, the vehicle runs for a few seconds then shuts down (same as with the PATS module and no key in).  I have a command start tach probe and the Black Widow LED tach finder and the blue/green at the coil seems to show a signal when testing either way.  I tried some other wires at the coil and the same result.   All the ignition/accessory wires are powered up as well.  Which tach wire have you used when installing on one of these vehicles?

tried the pink/white and same result.  This is a first for me.   Even if I program the unit for smart start where it doesn't require the tach wire signal, it  runs then shuts off.  Its acting like it doesn't even see the tach.  I metered the tach  wire from the remote start to ground to see if it was shorted and its okay.  I have also made sure when my tach source is connected that the unit is programmed for tach/rpm.

I remember it being around 6 volts AC and the frequency fluctuated between 130 and 150 Hz..
