Im installing a Avantguard 4 into my 03 Dakota. I was told I need a DEI 456C OR 456L to tie into my door lock/factory alram system. Is this true or is there something I can make myself that will work ?

Well kick panel 850 ohms(-) lock 300 ohms (-) unlock ( white /dk.green ) if with alarm 620 ohms will lock and arm and 1.5k ohms will fist pulse disarm and second pulse unlock wire color is Lt.GREEN/ orange DRIVER KICK
