Im surrently installing a Avantguard 4 into a 2003 Dodge Dakota. I have ran into one problem I need to have cleared up. For the door trigers I had to Diode isolate the tan(drivers door) and the tan/red (passenger door). Now in doing that how will the alarm turn on the dome lights? Or do I just wire the door triger wire into the yellow wire feeding the dome light?

Ok .. call me stupid ...... the diodes need to be between the CTM and the door trigers and the alarm wire between the diode and the triggers..... right ?

That is correct but, you will also need to split the trigger input from the alarm and if you use diodes to do this it will not illuminate the dome light.  When faced with situation on cliffords I used to use the gray trigger for the drivers door and the gray / YELLOW trigger for the other doors.

So would it be better to tie into the yellow dome light wire and use the entry delay option on the AVG 4 ?
