I am looking to install a remote starter in my 2002 Chevy Blazer and was wondering from you experienced installers which bypass modules are the best and most compatible with my vehicle.  Do any have more features or anything that I should be aware of?  Where are the best places and prices to get them?

Thanks

Brandon

Your vehicle uses a Passlock II system. There are many different modules available. I don't know of any modules that can do anything other than interface with the Passlock system. The door locks are a psoitve pulse system. Nothing else in those trucks can really be done through a data module. I would recommend a GMBP module availabe from www.bypasskit.com

Never had a problem the a 555L in that truck.  Like sparkie said the passlock bypass is all that you really need for that truck everything else is straight forward.

I am trying to take off the lower portion of the dash on my 2002 Blazer and am not sure how to remove the emergency brake lever to take out the dash portion.  Can anyone help me in this process?

Thanks

i believe there is a screw underneath the handle. I may be wrong but i am not sure.

you disconnect the cable from the emergency brake itself nd leave it connected to the release handle....

Also. you may want to check for sure but I've had problems with the GMSL not workin on regular S10's.. not sure about the blazers though but I believe they are very similar..

What problems with the GMSL?  Also, I did a remote start a long time ago and it was on a vehicle with no need for a bypass module.  I understand how to wire the entire Crimestopper RS999TW1 but I am not sure the correct procedures for wiring the bypass module.  Do I have to wire into the RS on anything or just hook into wires as wiring diagram shows for bypass module.  Thank you for all your help as I may have more questions during the wiring process.
