I have a crimestopper rs900 and when i hit the lock button it doesnt arm my factory alarm.please help

I forgot to say it is a 97 ford explorer 4dr v8

Confirm that if you leave the driver's door open and activate the door lock circuit, the factory alarm should arm.If it does, try pulsing the light blue/white wire
(-) coming in from the driver's door at the same time you pulse the lock wire.

it does arm if door is open so i should connect the light blue/white in with the wire that locks the doors
