I recently installed a 771xv into a Mazda 3……everything went flawlessly except when I got the door trigger and truck trigger……the wires in the car for the door trigger rest at ground and then go to an open circuit.  I was able to find all of the triggers in the pass. kick panel.  I wired up a relay ……..86 – 12volt constant, 85 – from door triggers (diode isolated), 87 – empty, 87a – ground, 30 to green wire of brain.  I ran out of time and the customer is coming back on Tuesday, the relay I wired up was not triggering the alarm, does this sound like I wired it right or is there something I missed?  Also I could not find the trunk trigger in the pass. kick.  Do you know off the top of your head where exactly I should be looking to find it, it would sure beat running wire to the trunk.

I did one recently. You'll need (4) 10k ohm resistors and 4 diodes. I can email you a document. Send me a PM with an email address.
