Swamprat,

I'm installing an SR6000 in my truck this coming weekend.  I'll report back here when I get a chance to test the range of the pager.

Regards,

John L.

I had a Ungo 2 way installed about 2 years ago when they first came out with them and all I ever had was problems.
It would trigger by itself all the time and during the worst times (3am)
I finally took it back and they replaced it with a brand new Code Alarm 2 way system. Havent had a problem since.

I installed the SR6000 in one of my cars....it has great range.... 1500+ feet

Works flawless....

Any random alarms would likely be a mis adjusted shock sensor.....

For the moeny....best bang for the buck.... I just installed a Compustar 2 way setup...nice unit but wasted my money...the UNGO is just as good for 1/2 the price.

I installed a Clarion Ungo SR6000 in my 2001 Dodge Ram truck this past weekend.  I mounted the transceiver / antenna upside down (antenna pointing down) on the top of the windshield right behind the rearview mirror.

While I haven't yet had a chance to test the 2-way pager range out in the open, I have found it works at 500 feet away inside, and through several walls of, the heavily electrified factory where I work.  I'm sure the straight-line outdoor range would be double or triple that.

So far I'm very pleased with the range.

John L.
