Hi, Let me first off say this has been a very informative site to me. But currently I am having a problem installing a Viper 791xv into my 95 Eclipse GSX. I got the wiring diagrams and such but there are a few things that are confusing me. First off on the main 12 pin harness there are 3 wires that I am confused which go where:
1st - Domelight Supervision output, I couldnt find a wiring schematic
2nd - (-) door trigger input zone 3
3rd - (+) door trigger input zone 3 - these two are confusing me mainly b/c in the diagram I have it shows the door trigger as a negative, so does that mean the (+) door trigger not get hooked up?

The way it is currently set up is the (-) door trigger is connected and the (+) is not. I have no wire hooked up with the domelights supervision so when I disarm the alarm my domelights dont come on at all until I open my door. My last question would be, when I remote start my alarm my parking lights flash, is this normal ? Thanks in advance for any help.

yes, you've got the door triggers hooked up correctly. Some vehicles use a positive door trigger, both wires are there for ease of install. YOu do not need to hook up that purple wire. As for the domelight wire, it will provide a 30 second output after disarming, as well as after you turn the ignition off. This output is a very low current though, intended only to drive a relay. IF you want to hook it up, get a standard SPDT relay and wire it up like this:
pin 85 - fused constant 12V
86 - domelight supervision wire from alarm
87 - ground
30 - door trigger wire in vehicle

lastly, your parking lights should flash once before the car starts, once it is running you can select either flashing or constant. It's in the programming menus, default is flashing.

I noticed on the stock alarm there is a wire that is stated as the "domelight supervision". Can this be used as the domelight supervision for the viper ?
