I can not find the parking ligths wire for a  Dodge  Caravan 1996. I have found a orange wire located at the head ligth switch. How ever, parking ligths works with  the Alarm (+ output) and now lights do not work with the switch. I do not know what to do, My customer is realy ungry about it and I understand him.

Any help is appreciated,

Regards and

Happy New Year to everybody.

The parking lights wire is the light GREEN / WHITE at the head lights switch and is a negative so you need a relay.

Same location where you found Orange wire ...it's light GREEN / WHITE wire and in some green..Negative Triger..

but if you use orange wire it will work just on parking light and dash light won't work on it...better use relay with light GREEN / WHITE (-)

PARKING LIGHTS ( - )              grn/wht or grn/red at the switch

Do not use the (+) wire and does the van come with auto lamps ? If so you will need to diode isolate and relay isolate the circuit or you will burn out part of the BCM that controls the lamps.

Jeff could you elaborate on the diode isolation of the parking light wire, I have an install on this same van and if it has auto lamps i would need to know what you are talking about.

Thanks
