Hi all, I have a 1993 Audi 80 and i am constantly having to turn my LEFT side power mirror down so i can see the curb. i was wondering if anyone knows how i can make the mirror do this automatically when i put the car into reverse? the car has automatic transmission. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and also go back to original position when car is put into drive.

you could make it go down, but making it return i dont think will be possible, it would rquire programed moduel,

or you could buy a bmw they have that feature on some of their models. lol

That details a module in development to do what you are talking about.

yea this is a bmw feature they have been doing this for years. in theory you could do this action with a timed relay i would think. you would need to tap into the reverse circuit and have this trigger the relay setup to adjust the mirror down for a pre-calculated amount of time and then disable that relay. then as the vehicle is put back into the drive position it would take another timed relay to adjust it back up to the original position. the only problem i can think of is if you went straight into drive it would adjust the mirror up to far. the other option would be if you could get an aftermarket seat memory kit and wire and calibrate that into doing the mirrors rather than the seats. again it is all in theory and that link above could be promising. posted_image good luck!
