Hey all, I am hooking up a remote start/keyless Hornet 570T and I need negatives for the door locks.  The door locks are positives.  I have a bunch of relays,  but they only have wires in 30, 85, 86,  and 87a.  don't have any way to get more right now.  can I use these, if so, how.  diagrams I have seen need the regular 87, not 87a

and they have diodes across them, from 85 to 86, with stripe on 85 side

Cut the diode out, and use an additional wire with a 1/4" female quick disconnect for the 87 terminal in the relay harness.

You'll need two relay's, one for lock and one for unlock.

85 + Input from keyless
86 Gnd
30 - Lock/Unlock Output to Doorlocks
87a Not connected
87 GND

85 + 12v lock/unlock Input from alarm/rs brain
86 Gnd
30 - Lock/Unlock Output to Doorlocks
87a Not connected
87 GND

When you press the lock/unlock button on the keyfob... Terminal 85 Energizes, and engages the coil which swipes the wiper contact 30 to contact momentarily to pin 87.. Giving you your - pulse door lock outputs...
