i have 200sx with a upgrade alarm with a cyclops immobiliser..  before i start taking the car apart to put in a turbo timer i want to know if the immobiliser will interfer with my turbo timer.     i know how to hook up a relay to trick the alarm to thinking the key is removed from the ignition.  but wouldnt the immobiliser cut off the petrol pump and etc if i lock the car and the immobiliser comes on.???

is there anyway to over come this problem..??

The turbo timer turns on the turbo fan to cool off the turbo and the petrol(english word for gas) pump is the fuel pump.

Hey Thinkster,

The immobilizer won't interfere for the reasons that follow.  There exists timer modules on the market that will give you a timed output of 4 minutes required for turbo cooling.  If your alarm has an AUTO ARM feature select it and some thirty seconds after the timer shuts down the system auto arms as you would have activated it by shutting down with your key.
