96 accord keyless/transmitter option button, does that send out any pulse? i want to add aftermarket alarm module to it to use with the factory alarm.

I'm not familiar with that transmitter's options, but add-on remote starters can be triggered by 3 pulses within 3 seconds or so, and you could use your lock wire to do this.

IIRC, the option button was for trunk pop and when pressed together for 2 secs with the lock button is goes into silent mode.

If you want to add an alarm to the factory keyless, i think your best bet is a DEI Automate 415A or Hornet 700T. These are full alarms that use your current factory remote.

how would i go about installing it, is there be a output pulse from the factory unit, it doesnt say it on the manual
