I have a 2000 honda odyssey that I'm trying to hook up to an alarm with 2 aux outputs. I would like one to open/close each rear side slding door independently. I've searched and read the earlier posts concerning this and experimented a bit with it in the car. I pretty much had the directfax 1085 setup hooked up, but I don't have a 611t pulse timer. I tried a 528t pulse timer, which I figured might work, but I can't get it open the door all the way. If I just touch the activation wire to ground it works fine, but I could not find a pulse length on the timer that would work. My question is, why won't an aux alarm pulse work? It's less than one second as required by the 611t. Is there any better way to do this?

I don't see where it says its upgradable to do sliding doors on Hondas. I used a HODL3 on a 2005 before to do the sliding doors. Worked great. Unfortunately that part is only listed to work for 2005 and 2006. If you hold your mouse over the car icon for 2000 Odyssey in the link you posted it does not list sliding doors. If you pull up the page for the HODL3 and put your mouse over a 2005 icon, it specifically says it does the doors.
The timing of the pulse has to be very exact. Too long and the doors only open a little bit. At least that is what I remember....its been a while since I have done one with the doc 1085 setup.
you should be able to do it with two pulse timers. i have done it. but you must make sure that the timing is right or you will burn up the motors.
