I have a problem installing a DEI 530t window module in a 2002 Acura RSX.

I keep blowing my fuses on the 530t and under the dash.
The manual says: The windows do not move and the 530t's fuses blows. The switch side and the motor side connections may be reversed. Always make the determinations while using the master switch (if there is one), and both wires before testing if any uncertainity exists.

I wired the everything from my RSX to the 530t as follows:
on the switch side (inside the door)
RED / yel->white
RED / blk->brown

motorside
RED / yel->green
RED / blk->blue

In the kickpanel i wired:
going towards the connector
blu/red->blu/blk
blu/wht->grn/blk

wires running back to the door
blu/red->brn/blk
blu/wht->wht/blk

Red=power +12v source to battery
Violet, vlt/blk, and black wires grounded to chasis used sandpaper to rub off paint.

RED / wht->yellow wire on cn#1 on compustar 900fmr
orange->purple pigtail on cn#2 on compustar
gray didn't hook up.

i tried switching on the 530t the polarity to + and - still got fuses blown. i believe the rsx has a + polarity at rest. can anyone verify that?
also if anyone can point out what i did wrong?

The RSX has a (-) polarity at rest. Referred to as Type A in the manual.

How are you testing for switch and motor side?

Isn't the RSX a 2 door car...? And the TSX, TL and RL a 4 door..? Anyways....

You have the A type door locks and it seems you wired for the B type locks. Switch some wires around (blue and green)and you should get it to work. If not I am not too sure past that point. I am still stumped on the 4 door RSX. One, I have never seen one around here mainly because there are a couple chrysler and Gm plants here and 2) I can not find wiring for a 4 door RSX. I show a RL with:

up/dn: RED / yel - RED / blu (lf)
up/dn: blu/wht - blu/red (rf,lr,rr)
All the wires in each door.

Good Luck!

I may be lost but I am making good time.
