I looked through about 50 pages of the forum, and couldn't find this specific answer. I'm installing aftermarket keyless entry in a 2000 Chrysler Voyager. I've found the WHITE/ dark green single trigger wire apparently used for the door locks on the left plug of the BCM at the bottom. I understand I am supposed to set up some type of negative trigger using 1.5K and 250 ohm resistors and relay(s).
From the keyless entry module, I have an unlock and lock wire. Where and how should I connnect these using the relay and resistors to achieve desired operation? I'm not too familiar with relays, and do not know where to connect the relay(s), the resistors, or the keyless module wires to the vehicle wiring.

you will need 2 relays. On each relay connect as follows:
85-negative lock trigger from alarm
86-constant 12v
87-ground
30-1500 ohm resistor
85-negative trigger from alarm
86-constant 12v
87-ground
30-250 ohm resistor
solder a wire to the other end of each resistor and connect to the WHITE/ green white of the vehicle

Make sure you use a SPDT relay with 5 pins on it. Pin 87a is not used in either relay.

There are three relays plugged into the fuse box, above where that WHITE/ green wire is.
Remove each relay, insert a jumper wire into the hole where terminal 85 was, and test to verify which does lock and which does unlock..........you can then tap your keyless' negative outputs directly to the relay.
You'll notice there are two unlock relays; one does the driver's door, one does all others. If your unit has two-step unlocking, connect each unlock wire to the appropriate relay. If your unit only has one unlock output, split it with two diodes, and attach them to each relay.
NOTE: Does your Town and Country have a factory alarm? If so, this method isn't advised, as it won't arm or disarm the alarm.
Many thanks for all your help. I should be able to install it now without too much trouble.
