Has anyone hooked up these chevy blazer door locks before?

The info on this site in the wiring diagrams section says the following...

  • Door lock - Light blue wire - Drivers kick Panel
  • Door unlock - Black - Reverse Polarity

Are both of these reverse polarity?

Ok now, my black widow X-5 has basically five wires to connect if i follow the reverse polarity instructions for both the lock and unlock circuits. Basically the brain of the alarm acts like a relay i believe in this configuration. so i break the original continuity of the lock circuits and then each wire from the module goes into the appropriate wire which was cut, then I put 12 volts to the module and the locks work.....

Is this correct?

Also, i dont think i can hook my dome light input to the door pins circuit which is negative ground style i believe on the chevy blazer, because i looked inside the brain and the circuit that is labeled dome is burnt up,,, happened today when i installed the alarm and i smelt and saw smoke and unplugged it right away... hopefully the alarm is still good, the circuit s just burnt it may still be ok....though the alarm manual itself states that you can hook the dome to either a positive or negative door pin system... confusing... now what do i do with the dome?

Any input would help me alot...
