its a 99 chrysler lhs the last thing i did was disconnect all the wiring harnesses from the fuse block so that i could see the wires in the back because i could not see them while it was all plugged up. plugged it all back together and poof this is what happened. i know i didnt plug something back in wrong because the harnesses only fit into one slot. do i have to maybe reset something but that doesnt explain why the windows dont work.

unhocking the battery only works for vehcles upto 1995 that obdI for 1996 and newer obdII you need to ue a scan tool to reset/clear the DTCs in the computer....

take the car to a dealer or invest in a very good scantool that can clear abs.srs.dtc.and check engine codes...

You may have blown a major fuse. Check all the fuses in the car....especially the bigger ones under the hood. Sounds like the second ignition fuse, or maybe one of the constant power feeds in the ignition harness.

there are 3 fuses that supply power to the ignition switch on that car, they are under the hood.

main ign and starter are on one and the Acc wires are on another while 2ng ign is on the third one.

Check for a 30 or 40 amp fuse under the hood labelled IGN/ACC or IGN Start
