Ok I bought an alarm for my husband's 1996 dodge ram 1500 pickup and I started to wire it. Unfortunately the instructions are extremely vague and I screwed something up... I now have a dead battery and fried a wire and also the door lock and unlock using the alarm did not work... This is what I wired from the alarm to the truck. If anyone can help me figure out what I did wrong I would greatly appreciate it. The alarm is a model hs-100 that I bought on ebay.
From the alarm color wire in alarm to the truck color wire in truck
10 wire harness
first wire yellow yellow wire in relay (included w/alarm) says this is for IGN.CYT.CJT
second wire black ground black says this is for 12v storage battery (-)
third wire brown headlights lightgreen says this is for direction light
fourth wire pink speaker for alarm says this is for electronic speaker
fifth wire red 12v constant red says this is for 12v storage battery (+)
sixth wire brown headlights same as other says this is for direction light
seventh wire green not used (trunk wire)
eighth wire orange brake white says this is for foot brake switch
ninth wire white ignition2 BLACK/ white says this is for Key on (ACC) position
tenth wire blue unlock door pink/purple says this is for negative trigger door side switch
From the included relay color from relay to truck color in truck
yellow to main alarm box yellow yellow first wire in alarm 10 harness
no green ignition 1 dark blue
nc white ignition 1 dark blue
common green tach wire gray/black
Doors
wires from 6 wire harness to truck
orange and ORANGE / black wire to ground
yellow and yellow/black wire to 12v constant
white wire to ORANGE / purple door lock wire
WHITE/ black wire to pink/purple door unlock wire
I am going to include a picture of the Main Engine Installing Figure that was the only directions included with the alarm in another post shortly. If anyone can help at all I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

These are your door lock control wires from the alarm. Your unit has built in relays. no= pin 87. nc= pin 87a. common= pin 30. Pins 85, and86 are controlled internally by the alarm.
