First DEI came out with that system with the huge honkin remote, now audiovox has the 998 with a huge remote, whats goin on here? good range or not, I'd rather stick with my normal size remote IMHO, and keep using my telematics piece if range is an issue.

people getting older, eyesight not what it used to be. maybe they should come out with a remote with oversized buttons like the telephone for people with bad eyesight.

Also, company is looking out for the over the hill people. Marketing 101 corner in the Baby boomer. More and more of them out there. Get them use to one thing and you'll have the saying "A lot more difficult to teach an old dog new tricks".
