Anyone know how to get this interface and software? I would rather have it than the bitwriter. I love the G4 software i have for my clifford.

How did you get your bit writter? Or the other clifford stuff. I'm not a DEI Guy...so im unfamiliar with their products.

I was in pretty good with a shop near the base i was stationed at on the east coast. I was always spending money there until i PCSed out the state. Now im in a new place and have no good dealers around. I even have the dealer version of the G4 wizzard. Gives you a little more freedom. I just bought some 791XVs for 2 of my vehicles and find it a lot easier to click versus playing the valet switch game.

Bitwriter is way wasier than the Cliffnet Wizard in my books... i use both and much prefer using the Bitwriter....

in fact i'm so spoiled i hate selling the 561 series units at all because i have to count LED flashes instead of just grabbing the Bitwriter.... it's whatever you get used to.....

DO they (DEI) still make the software ( not clifford) today. i though the bitwritter replaced the software. i have nto seen the software in several years. the bitwritter is easier to use, and to carry around.
but i dont belive they make it anymore.

sweet. Thanks for all the replys then. I just like utilizing my laptop but since you all prefer the bitwriter, ive gone with that. I really dont miss counting chirps and LED pulses. LOL Thanks again.
