Have a remote start in it. It is running the green wire just behind the little change foldout pocket.
Once you turn on the parking lights or headlights then turn them off they stay on outside.
What could be the cause of it  and problem so it can be fixed. Relay, module, headlight switch what?

Are you saying there is a green wire from the module going behind the foldout pocket, or it is connected to a green wire? The parking light connection shouldn't be behind that foldout pocket. If you see a green wire going behind there, that is the door trigger wire which is correct because you can grab the door trigger @ the dimmer. The park light connection should either be in the drivers door sill (+), or the steering column area (-) in most cases. Did this problem just start and/or was anything changed?

He should be okay to get positive lights at the back of the dimmer switch too. I think it's easier to just get lights and brake together in the running board........but lights at the dimmer switch should be okay.

That car also has Toyota's automatic lights that come on at night. Are you sure it isn't just a little dark outside, or there is junk on top of the dashboard blocking the light sensor?
