years ago, i picked up a dei temperature sensor that ties into the remote start, but can't find the install sheet that came with it. most wires are self explanatory, red, black, blue/white goes to remote start activation, toggle switch input and so on. There is however, a black lead with a copper sensor on the end. This would be the temperature sensor. Where would you attach this to? I'm guessing maybe a heater hose or something? Also, for programming, there was a switch that you could set the temp to start between 2 options.. I can post pics if needed.

K.. i found the unit and took some pics.. There is no model number on the unit itself, but the board inside the case is stamped with DEI...
Wires:
   Red / Black: +12V/ Ground
   WHITE/ Blue Stripe : input to remote start
   Grey: toggle switch
   Blue: No Idea????
   White Loop: this is the temperature setting.. Connected is one temp, cut is the other.. posted_image
