I'm installing a Crimestopper EZ90 in a 06 Ford Focus. I'm using an XK04 bypass. The diagram appears pretty simple (negative locks) and what not...

I have never done a Focus so I just wanted to ask if there was anything I should look out for.. IE: You must pull radio out to get to wiring, etc.

Anyone have any tips or things to look out for for this vehicle?

Thanks a lot.

Nope, pretty easy install, GEM is behind the glove box... Might need to keep it alive.. cut the black and org permanantly if it's a sedan , if its 3 door trigger BLACK/ green black yellow and unlock from the door switch at the same time...

Thanks for the reply Hymer, What do you mean by:

"Might need to keep it alive.. cut the black and org permanantly if it's a sedan"??

Thanks!

The bcm falls asleep and needs to be kept alive, may want to look i the owners manual manual to see if you can override that feature... like on the rangers

You can avoid the BCM going to sleep if you never lock the car by the button on the door or the factory remote.  Once your alarm/remote start is in, only use those remotes, and the BCM will NEVER go to sleep.  Works on Mazda 6 too.
