I have done several installs of this keyless add-on system but have never been 100% satisfied with its performance.

For starters it seems to be very finicky to program to learn the keyless lock and unlock.

Customers always have trouble with stopping the alarm once it has been triggered.

Anyone have any tips or experience with this or ANOTHER KEYLESS ADD ON SYSTEMS that offer a more seamless install experience.

Thanks

That alarm is a hassle to program at first but once you do a couple it's a cake. To turn it off just tell the customer to hit lock once and that's it it will stop and rearm itself, just make sure you program the panic feature off bcuz if the customer hits lock twice on the remote or lock switch it will sound the horn or siren. have installed a lot and no problems except when you have to program them but give it a couple more installs and you'll be okay.

I just bought one 727T to intail it on a Toyota Prado 2007 This car is very similar to the Lexus GX470 but with less extras.

I have read the Alarm manual on how to program it but do you have any tips on programing it thatn the manual?

THX

I just correct my question on the programing.

I have read the Alarm manual on how to program it but do you have any tips on programing it that is not mention on the manual?

Well, I just finished intalling my Hornet 727T and I found it very easy to program the Learn of the LOCK/UNLOCK Pulses.

What I discover and is a tip for you guys is that is importand to remove the key from the ignition when you enter in the program.

For example when the instrucction says to Turn the ignition ON and then OFF, when you get to OFF, make sure to "REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH"

At the beguining I was not removing the key from the ignition and there was no way to program it. Then I remove the key and everything was very easy.

Another problem that I was experienced during my intalation on my Toyota Prado was that there was noy way the RED or YELLOW/Black DEFEAT Wire to get it to work.
So when the alarm goes off if I hit the factory unlock or lock switch located on the car door I can disarm the alarm posted_image
So here is how I cure this problemo:

The good thing of using this method if that when I am driving the car and I remove the key from the ignition, pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK switch on the drivers door, does not activate the alarm accidentaly. So the only way to activate the alarm is with the Key FOB transmitter.

Any questions, let me know.

Also forgot to tell you that using the schematic above,

DO NOT CONNECT the RED defeat wires to NOTHING.

Also, Just connect the YELLOW/Black Defeat Wire "ONLY" to the relays. DO NOT Connect the YELLOW/Black Defeat Wire to the light flash, or status Led as indicated on the instrucction.

Any questions, let me know,

Isaac
