anyone know where this is.. The usuale tach I go with isn't there BLACK/ org @ grey connector rt of steering column...

note *4 on the 2.4l engine, the tach wire is at the data link connector under the driver side dash . on the 3.0l engine, the tach wire is at the engine control module behind the glovebox, 31-pin plug, pin 5. BLACK/ orange (-)

Its a 2.4 what color on the data link connector? I get nothing on any of the wires as far as tach goes...

Thanks, found it .... says it's a 2.4 but is in the 3.0 behind the glove box...

--Gray plug to the right of the steering column. Two ORANGE / black wires. The one closer to the middle is tach.

On 4-cylinders 2005-up, it's not at that gray plug anymore.

Just FYI, I did an 06 Camry, 2.4l, you can grab the tach at the second connector from the top on the ECM, pin 1, blk/org.
