2 way remote single problem

I installed a radiostar R/S alarm combo on my 06 f-150 a few days ago. Everything works fine, but after letting the truck sit for a few hours i use my remote and it cant pick up any single from the unit on the truck. It will start working flawlessly again if i disconnect the fuseon the unit in truck, and plug it back in. Then it will stop working again after a few hours.

Any idea's would really help.

I recently installed a customers alarm. It was a CARVOX 990. I beleive they make radiostar alarms. Anyway the remote had a button lock on it. does yours have this feature?

it was a bad antana mod, replaced that and now it works at a good few hundred yards away now
