A lot of times when I'm doing remote starters I have to test 2-5 wires until I find the correct one.. It would be awesome if my DMM probe had an insulation piercing alligator type clip on it.. I hate using the needle type one and then sliding off and piercing my finger instead...

Does anyone have one of these and if so where did you get it? This is the DMM I have:

I searched their site for "bed of nails" but came up with nothing...

I use this type of clips every day at work.Any of the major tool guys have them Snap-On,Mac and Matco. There is one thing to remember when using these clips. When you have finished with your reading and remove the clip from the wire grap the wire and rub your thumb back and forth over the area where the bed of nails pierced through the wire. This action re-seals the insulation on the wire.

Radioshack sells a set of leads for about $15 that has a spring like end on it that will slide in to the alligator clips shown above.  They aren't the highest quality leads in the world, but they are the only ones I've been able to find that will 'plug' in to the clips.

Here are the leads I have:
https://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productid=2109756&cp=&origkw=test+leads&kw=test+leads&parentPage=search

Here are some bed of nails with wiring all ready on them:

Here are some crimp type leads:

Search for "bed of nails" on Ebay and you'll find several types of clips.
