Find yourself a bypass module CAN-SL2i this will control A LOT of cool features on your rig....IF you have the outputs from the remote start.

Actually I’m in the process of buying a alarm.... I was looking into the DEI systems such as the PYTHON 950 SST. Reading about it is making me think twice because it stated that they recommend professional certified installers... and if the product is not installed by one, they void the warranty.

I’m pretty well in installing alarms and have been doing this for years... Do you know any good ones out their? I am looking at a good system with 2 way, long range and as many channels as I can get. I installed Commando systems FM 870 and the previous version of it (FM Combo) also the RS 560 and wasn’t to happy with the range and all.

The FM Combo didn’t have any outputs (only one optional pulse channel-trunk release) but the range was good for about 5 years and now my transmitter(s) only works 20 feet away and sometimes 50 feet and if so, I don’t get a confirmation back from the system (if started, armed and/or disarmed). This was installed on a accord 2000.

The FM 870 has lots of programmable outputs but the range on it sucks too...installed it on a accord 04 2 years ago...and the antenna was relocated several times but still no distance!

RS 560 just had problems.... it was installed on my 1999 accord and something would just trigger the alarm middle of the night and go off…I checked all my wirings and check into the programming mode and everything was fine. Called Commando tech support and they said it could be a drop in the car voltage reading such as my fan turning on.
