Had the Viper 771xv installed a couple of months ago and it has worked fine up until now.  Whenever I try and use the remote stater the lights flash the seat moves into postion and I hear clicking in the stering column but it never trys to crank.  After it stops clicking the seat moves back and lights go off; it cycles this same routine three times then stops.  What could be causeing this?

The best thing for you is to take it back to the installer and let him/her diagnose it. Doing this yourself might void your warranty.

Yeah, I made an appointment to take it in the problem is they can't take it for three weeks, and it is cold out there now.  Guess I can try and take it somewhere else.

03 Montaineer. I was able to fix it myslef.  It seems that the PATS device moved slightly away from the ignition ring and therefore the car was not receiving the imobilizer signal.
