Does the cold weather make the DEI glass sensor any more sesitive than when its warm out?

The glass sensor just listens for frequency.
Dont see what temperature has to do anything with it.

My car (85 corvette) is made primarily of plastic (fiberglass ets...).  I am pretty sure plastic expands and contracts more than metal from temperture chance.  this makes various cracking noises/vibrations in the body.  this set off my shock sensor.  you should just turn down sensitivity and test it. .. dont break your glass, maybe test it w/ metal tapping on it.
