I have installed a Galaxy 2000RS-MDL that is set up to use the factory remote (push lock 3 times) to start my 2004 Honda Accord EX 4Cyl. After installing, I figured out I had hooked into the power locks, so the only way to start it was by pushing the passenger power lock 3 times. Good test, as it started and functioned, but I need to find out what wire I need to hook to that gives me a negative output to trigger the starter when the remote lock is pushed. I searched on here at came up with the possiblity of hooking into the lock motor: yellow/blk wire, front of fuse box, lt green 12 pin plug. It has 5wi for the polarity, which I am not familiar with. Anyone able to verify that information or give me some advice? This is a great resource! Thanks. JJ

You need to hook it up to the motor wires of the door locks....your remote start should have 3 wires that need to be hooked up. The inputs for the door locks on the remote start accept a positive pulse.
Lock motor 18ga. Yellow/Black (M) at bottom of driver’s kick panel
Unlock motor 18ga. YELLOW /GREEN (M) in Lt. Green connector at the center of the fuse box
Disarm defeat 18ga. Yellow (M) at bottom of driver’s kick panel

nevermind what i posted above...looked up the system, and its an all in 1 system with its own keyfobs.....not sure why you want to hook it up to the factory keyless, you do know there are systems designed to do that?
Im assuming you hooked it up to the the pink/black (-) lock wire? The only way i can see it being done now, is to add a relay in to the yellow/black wire to send a negative pulse to the aux start wire on the remote start. 86 input from yellow black wire. 85 and 87 need ground. 30 output to neg. input wire of remote start. This should work, but the only problem i see is that any 1 will be able to start your car from inside of the vehicle.

This system does not have its own key fobs - it's just the unit . It is meant as an add-on to OEM keyless. It uses only one wire to get the negitive input to start vehcle (white wire from 4-wire connector). I've got the correct manual for this, but Scytek's website does not show this particular model. That is why I thought the lock motor may work. Anyway, knowing that, do you think I still need the relay?

You must wire a relay to switch the polarity from positve lock motors to a negative pulse for your remote start. Pretty simple, wire relay like this... 85 to ground 86 to yellow/black lock motor wire 30 to ground 87 to the RS negative activation wire ------------- Mike M2

Standard Bosch type automotive relay. Every install shop will have them Circuit City, Best Buy, Tweeter, local shops, as well as Radio Shack.
