I have done an extensive search and have not found the answer to my problem. There is not a courtesy light under the dash on this rig. Can anyone tell me where to get the dome input from? I am thinking of trying the dome light cancelling switch below the light switch. anyideas? Thanks

try blue/white (-) at light at switch. Are you using it as a door trigger? If the dome override switch is turned on it will not trigger the alarm.

I am thinking of looking at the dome cancelling switch for the dome input  going into the switch is what I meant. I'll try the wire you mentioned in the morning. tnx

Just run a wire up to the domelight in the roof it's probably the easiest spot. You won't find it at the headlight switch.

Okay, so I ran a wire up to the dome light above the drivers door, and soldered it to the olive drab/black wire. Works perfect. Thanks for the input. Also on a side note, I grabbed the tach on the injector wire (any that is not pink) much easier than finding the wire on the pcm.

You can also use voltage sense, the vehicle has its own starter anti grind circuit.

I always go to the instrument cluster for tach signal- much easier than underhood........At least I think so...on those that have a tachometer- and do have a starter wire..........
