Does anyone happen to have the remote programming instructions for the Audiovox APS55TW system? If I remember correctly the instructions are on a separate piece of paper than what is contained in the owner's and installation manuals of the system and the owner can not find the paper.   I checked Audiovox's website and they offer the installation and owner's manuals but neither contain remote programming instructions.

Are these the finger shaped 3 button remotes?

The APS55TW has a 2-way transmitter just like the one shown here. The one way remote he has still works fine, but his original 2-way remote was run over. He purchased a replacement 2-way remote but can not locate the paperwork that shows how to program the remote. I tried turning the ignition on, holding for 10 seconds but the system never responded.

Try this

To program new or additional transmitters,

1. Enter the vehicle, and turn the ignition key to the " on " position.

2. Flip the valet switch on - off - on - off - on - then off.

3. The dash L.E.D. will flash one time, and the siren will chirp one time,

indicating the system is ready to accept programming for receiver

channel 1.

4. Press and hold the selected transmitter button ( s ) until the siren sounds

a long chirp, indicating the signal has been stored into memory.

5. If you have additional transmitters ( up to 3 ) that need to be programmed,

repeat step 4 for each transmitter.

6. Flip the valet switch on then off.

7. The dash L.E.D. will flash two times, and the siren will chirp two times,

indicating the system is ready to accept programming for receiver

channel 2.

8. Press and hold the selected transmitter button ( s ) until the siren sounds

a long chirp, indicating the signal has been stored into memory.

9. If you have additional transmitters ( up to 3 ) that need to be programmed,

repeat step 8 for each transmitter.

10. Flip the valet switch on then off.

11. The dash L.E.D. will flash three times, and the siren will chirp three times,

indicating the system is ready to accept programming for receiver

channel 3.

12. Press and hold the selected transmitter button ( s ) until the siren sounds

a long chirp, indicating the signal has been stored into memory.

13. If you have additional transmitters ( up to 3 ) that need to be programmed,

repeat step 12 for each transmitter.

14. Flip the valet switch on then off.

15. The dash L.E.D. will flash four times, and the siren will chirp four times,

indicating the system is ready to accept programming for receiver

channel 4.

16. Press and hold the selected transmitter button ( s ) until the siren sounds

a long chirp, indicating the signal has been stored into memory.

17. If you have additional transmitters ( up to 3 ) that need to be programmed,

repeat step 16 for each transmitter.

18. Turn the ignition key off. The siren will sound one short chirp then one

long chirp indicating the system has terminated the program mode.

Thank you for the info. The system is not an alarm so it does not have a siren, I would assume that the parking lights will flash to indicate the proper sequence. The other question in reference to these instructions is that the system has both a valet switch and a push button switch, I would think these instructions are referencing the push button switch and not the on/off toggle switch.

I will give this a shot as soon as I get a chance. Thank you for the responses.
