Need a little help.  I`m putting power window harness and switches from a `90 mustang in my `56

f-100. I was under the impression you have to use a dei 530t and/or relays to make it work.

but the wiring diagram for `90 mustang shows direct wire hook up between switches, motors, etc.

Which is correct? Will they work without relays, etc.?  Thanks   gusso

The switches handle the reversal circuit required for the windows in that particular application. If you want the windows to roll up and down via a remote control you would need the 530T.

Twelvoltz,  Thanks. Would the 530t have the instructions for hookup in this system for remote control?

And is there a certain remote control to use with the 530t or do you have to install an alarm with

acc hookup?  Thanks again.  Gusso

The 530T's installation manual shows that it requires one auxiliary channel to control windows down and that is uses the armed output to control windows up. Take a look at the manual, it should answer your questions. If you hook up the 530T without an external control it will still give you the one-touch feature.
