I installed a crimestopper alarm/starter in my truck. When i start the truck with the remote sometimes the truck will not start and the alarm will sound. But if i turn off the alarm the truck will start. It almost seems like the shock sensor is turning back on and stopping the starting process after it has started turning the starter over.

disable the shock sensor, and arm it then start it for a few days, that should tell ya if its the shock sensor. If it is, then set the sensitivity down, and or remount it somewhere else..

How did you wire the "wait to start"

Where did you connect at?

What year is your truck?

I didnt wire in the wait to start,i used a 20 sec delay.
All the connections are under the steering colum, what colors,i dont remember off hand.
My truck is a 2003 f350 7.3 diesel.

Thanks for your help.

When the alarm is triggered....what zone does the LED tell you was set off? Does it say "shock sensor" (the # of flashes)

when the alarm goes off,it says the doors got opened.Could it be the door trigger?

Could be the bcm wake up, or yes, the door pin! How did you catch the door pins? where? Did you isolate the pins?

I used the door dome light trigger.

I did install diodes (i think thats what there called) to the trigger wire from the dome light wire.

On my 2002 F350 PSD, if it doesn't start, the dome light comes on and this will set off the alarm. What zone is setting the alarm off? Check the # of flashes on the led and let us know.
