I installed a viper 5900 in my 03 eclipse. Everything works except for the remote start. I purchased a Directed 556U module immobilizer bypass module but have not had success installing it. Help please.

It is a universal bypass and it should work as long as you install it right and have the correct key.

How did you install it?

I used all the recommended install method in that manual. I also used the main key with the immobilizer chip.

Does the vehicle crank when you try to remote start?

The vehicle cranks and wants to start.  Then it shuts off because the fuel line is empty.  I'm guessing the immobilizer kills the power to the fuel pump.
