Hello all, I had a quick (and probably stupid) question regarding installing a Viper 5900 on my 06 Dodge Charger using a Peripheral CHDL7-PK2 Bypass unit.

The bypass has a lock and unlock input which both require a neg. pulse. However, the Viper 5900 lock wires reverse polarity, ie. one wire is (-)Lock/(+)Unlock, and the other is (+)lock/(-)unlock.

My question is, will that positive pulse damage the Bypass unit? If so, do I just diode isolate the wire? Thank you all for your help.

No it will not harm the bypass no need for diodes.
