Can anyone tell me all the modules and parts that I will need for installing a Viper/Python/Clifford Responder.  I read that I need to bypass the security with a 555U or 555I or something like that.  As far as door locks modules they are included with the alarm, correct? I am looking for the correct part numbers to order for a Sunroof module, window module, promity sensor, and hood and trunk pins and if anyone know where to buy the alarm and accessories for cheap.   As far as  window lock modules, do I need to order one or two for a EX couple.  I am probably going to need some diodes where should I get them and which kind?  If DEI makes all the alarms what makes clifford any better the Viper or Python.   Any help is appreciated.

555i for immobilizer bypass
door lock modules not needed
window module - 530T (1 needed for 2 windows or 2 needed if doing 4 windows)
proximity - 508D
trunk pin - not needed, car already has one
hood pin - will come with alarm

You would only need diodes for the door triggers if you grab the individual door trigger wires. Otherwise you can just get the one wire that goes to the domelight.

I want it to be for the door triggers yes, not when someone opens the door until the light comes on then the alarm will go off. What is the difference between 555U and 555I I have the a different set of wiring information and it says that the car will need a 555U not I.

The light comes on immediately when you open the door...there is no delay. Either way will work fine.

The 555U requires the valet key to be used inside it. The 555i doesn't. The 555i gets wired into the cars wiring, the 555U doesn't. The 555U uses a loop of wire that goes around the key cylinder. The 555U is also more likely to have problems in extreme cold weather, since the signal coming out of the key can weaken in the cold. I suggest the 555i...it is what we always use at work.
