I got a dodge ram 1999 coming in for a keyless system install.  I have looked at other post on this site and I don't unstand what going on. sorry but I'm new to the alarm install game.

I have a double relay socket and the wire info below.  it does not have a listing for passenger lock... but it has door lock and drivers lock.. so my question is how do I wire a 5 wire relay to the wires listed below?

They all lock at the same time with one push of 1 button. There is no reason to lock one door at a time.

Unlock is a different thing. You might want to do just the drivers door, then another push you unlock the pass. door.

I will need to use the 5 wire for reverse polarity right?  if so does the  alarm lock output, alarm unlock output come from the alarm or is it the output from the relay to the alarm?

Like the configuration above, the switch, when moved in either direction, applies both power and ground directly to motor legs  without the use of any relays. Except, at the switch in this case, both motor legs rest at ground . Therefore it is only necessary to change the polarity of one motor leg to lock or unlock the vehicle.

This is practically identical to the 5 wire alternating 12V(+) system above. The only difference is there's no switch! Both motor legs rest at ground at the relays. To lock or unlock the vehicle, polarity is changed on one motor leg.

The top diagram is the one to follow. See the blue and green that says 'to alarm outputs" These are your lock and unlock out from the alarm to trigger your relays.

some of them,  pretty sure 98's have  5wire unlock and negative trigger thru resistance lock,  kinda never know what is going to be in there sometimes in those.  where did you get those notes from?
