I found the general 07 wiring guide on the forum, however, I am having a hard time finding out what immobilizer bypass I am going to need, and also a more detailed description of how to do the actual R/S wiring. I have read that there is an abnormal starting system on the 07 cobalt.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!

As for the starter circuit.....you don't actually hook the starter wire of the remote start to anything. When the vehicle sees power to the ignition wire and no power to the acc. wire it will crank the vehicle.
