I installed a clifford advantguard5 on a 2001 chevy monte carlo. The bypass module that I have for the passlock II is the 556LW by dei electronics. My problem is with this bypass module. The alarm works fine, but for whatever reason the bypass module wont learn the resistance code of the factory passlock II anti-theft system. I followed the directions of the installation instructions and have double and triple checked my wiring. Has anyone else had a problem with this bypass module? Any help is greatly appreciated.

i have used that module many many times. I have never found a problem.   but you can also try the 457G, or the GMBP.
