Hi all new to the forum and would apprecaite your expert knowledge.

I have a Ford focus with Intelliguard 750 installed, Smartwindows and Intelliguard4 I have had a brand new engine fitted due to blowing the last one up and when collecting realised that it wont go into Valet mode for remote start. Looking through all the items in Cliffnet Wizard Pro, I noticed it was reading Hood Open and on checking the Hood Pin was really stiff (Faulty). I disconnected and left away from metal work which stopped the Status showing Hood open, I tried the valet mode procedure (Cliff, Cliff, **) and nothing.

Back in Cliffnet wizard I started the engine normally and the status is showing engine off when it is running and in Monitor entering valet shows all the right things. I tried start engine from the menu and didnt do anything (Allthough dont think this worked when it was working). Pressing pulse starter turned over the engine ok.

Armed with all this I decided to try Automatic mode to test car started but then shut down after about 2 seconds then started up again constant loop.

Any Ideas would be really grateful and the working solution get a few beers via Paypal :D

Thanks guys for the reply, I worked it out to be a problem with the RPM detection hence why it couldnt run or do anything. Now tach there is sees all.

You didn't wait for any of us to reply, incidentally the Wiz pro is glitched to hell and in the field I use manual tach detection via the valet switch. Because of bonnet locking system you don't even neede a bonnet switch.
